LGBTQIA+ Meaning
There are many different names for different sexualities. Here you can find them all, and you can read exactly what they all mean. Many people know LGBT or LGBTQ but the full name is LGBTQIA.
LGBTQIA stands for
Lesbian
A lesbian is a homosexual woman. Self-identified women loving women. They have romantic sexual or emotional relationships with women of the same gender. The word lesbian is also used for women in relation to their sexual identity or sexual behavior, regardless of sexual orientation, or as an adjective to characterize or associate nouns with female homosexuality or same-sex attraction.

Gay
Self-identified men loving men. They have romantic sexual or emotional relationships with men of the same gender.
LGBTQIA stands for
Bisexual
Someone who loves people of any gender. With the inlcusion or social recognition that there is more than one gender, this sexual orientation is also called pansexual.

Transgender
The word "Transgender" is an umbrella term that describes those who have a gender that's different from the sex assigned at birth: Male, Female of Intersex. "Transsexual" is a more specific term that fits under transgender umbrella.

Genderqueer / Non-Binary
Queer is often used as a catch-all for the LGBTQIA community. Queer is an identity in and of itself. It can mean not fitting into any particular label or sexual identity that excist (so not being straight, gay or bisexual), it is an identity outside of the norms that does not fit into the options that are available. Non-Binary is an umbrella term for gender indetities that are not exclusively male or female.

Intersex
Intersex is a general term used for a variety of situations in which a person is born with reproductive or sexual anatomy that doesn't fit the boxes of “female” or “male.” Sometimes doctors do surgeries on intersex babies and children to make their bodies fit binary ideas of “male” or “female”.

Asexual
Someone who's asexual experiences little to no sexual attraction. Sexual attraction is about finding a specific person sexually appealing and wanting to have sex with them. However, everyone has a different experience with being asexual, and asexuality can mean different things to different people.
